Company History
Since 1937, the Warner name has been synonymous with value, quality, and integrity. With Matt Warner becoming CEO in 1998, our company reached a rare accomplishment—its third generation of family ownership. Over the decades, R.W. Warner has expanded into a family of service divisions that include Warner Service, Warner Construction, Kaempf & Harris, and Warner Mechanical. Our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction has allowed our enterprise to continually grow for over 88 years.
Warner Mechanical is one of the region’s largest and most respected mechanical contractors with equipment and technology capable of handling even the most complex major mechanical systems and plumbing installations. Our portfolio of clients includes some of the world’s largest contracting companies, as well as school and government agencies throughout the quad-state region. Our mechanical division is known for its team-focused approach to projects, scheduling integrity, reliable budgeting, and quality workmanship.

R.W Warner, Inc. believes that a safe and healthy work environment is an obligation to the workers, families, and clients. The prevention of occupational induced injuries or illnesses is of such consequence that it will be given precedence over productivity. We believe it is best to express safety awareness through indoctrination, safety, and health training before employees and subcontractors begin work on any project. A safe job site creates healthier and more knowledgeable workers, which helps us create the best possible final product. It is the policy of R.W. Warner, Inc., and its affiliated divisions to take all feasible and practical efforts to provide a safe and healthful place of employment for our employees. The personal safety and health of each company employee are of primary importance.
Occupational Safety Education is the backbone of the R.W Warner Inc. safety program. R.W Warner, Inc. has two full-time in-house safety training professionals that emphasize instructing, developing, inspecting, correcting, and enforcing safe work practices. The training includes but it is not limited to:
Hagerstown Multi-Use Sports Event Center
In October of 2021, the Maryland Stadium Authority authorized and issued $59.5 million to construct a new Multi-Use Sports Event Center in downtown Hagerstown.
